Description
This course, presented by Armande Fryatt, and written in line with the SASC guidelines, gives detailed advice on how to write a Diagnostic Decision as required in the new report format.
Learning outcomes
To give assessors confidence in determining a diagnostic outcome referencing the Delphi definition of dyslexia and/or the SASC 2025 definition of dyscalculia.
To support assessors in learning how to draw together the key evidence from the assessment, alongside pertinent information from background history, which supports the diagnostic decision.
To give guidance on the impact of the underpinning diagnostic features.
Course prerequisites
This course is designed for specialist assessors qualified to Level 7.
